Courier FAQ
Questions couriers ask.
What counts as proof of delivery?
Each completed job keeps the GPS position and time at pickup and drop-off, plus the recipient's signature or the driver's reason for not getting one. Open the job in your dashboard to see it all.
Can the recipient sign on the driver's phone?
Yes. The driver app shows a signature pad when the driver completes the delivery.
Does Beridy plan multi-stop routes?
No. Each booking is one pickup and one drop-off, and there's no route optimization. If a driver has several drops, you assign each job to them and they work through the list.
Can I charge by weight?
Weight is captured on the booking but doesn't change the price automatically. Prices come from distance, zones, or a flat rate. For heavy or unusual jobs, switch to request-a-quote and price them yourself.
Can business customers pay on account?
Yes. Mark the job as billed to a facility on Net 15 or Net 30 terms and the due date is tracked on the job. Beridy doesn't generate the invoice document itself.
Do drivers need a scanner or a special device?
No. The driver app runs in any phone browser with a 4-digit PIN. There's no barcode scanning.
