What is Beridy, exactly?

Beridy is a branded booking site, dispatch, a driver app, and a GPS and signature record of every ride, in one system built for independent transportation businesses. It runs NEMT, private car and airport transfer, shuttle, and courier operations today, all on the same platform.

How long does setup take?

Most operators are live and accepting bookings the same day. Set your rates and vehicle types, get your branded booking link, and you're ready. No onboarding calls, no IT department.

How many vehicles do I need to get started?

Beridy is built for operators running 1 to 10 vehicles, solo drivers and small teams alike. Add vehicles as you grow, there's no enterprise pricing or per-seat fees to hit.

Do drivers need special hardware or an app store download?

No. The driver app is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so it installs directly from a browser on any iOS or Android phone drivers already own. No app store approval or company-owned devices required.

What does the booking experience look like for my customers?

Your own branded web address (like beridy.com/yourfleet) where customers, families, and coordinators book one-way or round-trip rides, buy seats on your scheduled shuttle runs, or ask for a recurring plan. No phone tag, no faxing. You can point your own custom domain to it later, any time, from settings.

Can I put the booking form on my own website?

Yes. The Embed card in your dashboard settings gives you a copy-paste snippet that puts the full booking form directly on your own site, not just a link out to Beridy. It resizes itself automatically and matches your brand color and logo.

What if I don't want to quote a price instantly?

Customers can request a quote instead of booking directly. You review the trip details in your Leads pipeline and send back a price, by email or WhatsApp. They approve it and it becomes a booking automatically. It's the right fit for medical transport, custom jobs, or anything you don't want to price by formula.

How do my customers actually pay me?

You choose per ride: cash, insurance, or card. Cash and insurance are recorded on the ride for your own records; Beridy doesn't bill insurers for you. Connect Stripe in Settings → Payments and card payments are charged for real, landing directly in your own Stripe account. Beridy never holds the money.

How does pricing work?

There's no monthly platform fee and no per-seat charges. You pay $0.50 per completed ride, processed automatically through Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record. No completed rides means no bill.

Can I offer recurring rides or subscription packages?

Yes. Set up a recurring plan for regulars (dialysis three times a week, a weekly grocery run, Sunday church) on set days of the week, at a per-ride rate you choose, with the same driver assigned every time. Customers can also ask for one from your booking page, and it starts once they approve your price. It runs alongside your one-off bookings on the same dashboard.

Does Beridy work for non-medical transportation too?

Yes. Beridy handles non-medical trips just as well: errands, social outings, worship, family visits, airport transfers, and courier work. Bookings, dispatch, and payment tracking work the same way regardless of the reason for the ride.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no contract to break. Cancel whenever you want, and you're never charged for rides you haven't completed.

Do I need a US LLC to sign up?

No. Beridy is built for independent operators of all business structures and in any country, including sole proprietors. Prices show in your own currency, and distances in miles or kilometres. You can start accepting bookings today and formalize your entity later.

What happens as my business grows or changes?

Add vehicles, drivers, and other kinds of scheduled transportation to the same account whenever you're ready. There's no plan to upgrade to, and no re-onboarding.
