Setting up your account.
How do I set up my account?
A short setup wizard walks you through your business details, fleet, payment method, and first driver right after you sign up. You can skip any step and come back to it later in Settings.
How do I add or remove vehicle types?
Settings → Fleet and prices. Add a vehicle type and set its pricing: one price per ride, a base fare plus distance (per mile or per km), or prices by zone. Add a seat count to sell it by the seat, priced per rider. It shows up on your booking portal immediately.
Can I use my own currency and kilometres?
Yes. Settings → Site details has Currency and Distance. Prices, quotes, receipts and card payments use your currency, and distance prices are per mile or per km. Your Beridy fee is billed in US dollars.
How do I invite a team member or driver?
Team members are added under Team; drivers are added under Drivers, where each one gets a 4-digit PIN to log into the driver app.
Booking portal
Your booking portal and embedding it.
What's the difference between Quote first and Instant pricing?
Instant pricing shows customers a live price and lets them book immediately. Quote first has customers request a quote, you price it, and they approve before it becomes a booking. Set this in Settings → Site details, under What customers see first, and change it any time. If none of your vehicles has a price yet, customers are asked for a quote instead.
How do I put the booking form on my own website?
Settings → Embed has a copy-paste snippet that works on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy. See /integrations for platform-specific steps.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, under Settings → Your own domain. Point your domain's DNS at Beridy and your booking portal serves from your own domain instead of beridy.com/yourfleet.
Can I remove the "Powered by Beridy" badge?
Not right now. It shows at the bottom of your booking pages. The form you embed on your own website doesn't show it.
Payments
How customers pay you.
How do my customers pay me?
You choose per ride: cash, insurance, or card. Cash and insurance are recorded on the ride for your own records; Beridy doesn't bill insurers. Card payments, once Stripe is connected, are charged for real.
How do I connect Stripe?
Settings → Payments, then paste your own Stripe secret key (Stripe dashboard → Developers → API keys). Charges land directly in your own Stripe account. Beridy never holds the money.
Why does a card payment show as "not connected"?
Until you add your Stripe key, "Pay with Card" is still shown to customers but collected by you directly, the same as cash.
Drivers & dispatch
Getting rides to your drivers.
How do drivers log in?
With their 4-digit PIN, from any phone's browser. No app store download, no company-owned device required.
How do I dispatch a ride?
Assign a driver to a ride from your Rides dashboard. It shows up in their driver app immediately.
What if a driver can't get a customer's signature?
The driver app lets them record a skip reason instead, so the ride can still be marked complete without blocking on it.
Bookings
Recurring rides, coupons, and payment records.
How do I set up a recurring ride?
Subscriptions → New plan. Pick the weekdays, time of day, and driver, and a booking gets created automatically on each scheduled day. Each ride is one way, so add a second plan for a return trip.
Can customers ask for a recurring plan?
Yes, with a quote. They pick Recurring plan on your booking page, choose their days and time, and you send a price per ride. When they approve it, Beridy creates the plan. Assign a driver on it, and add a second plan if they need the way back.
How do scheduled shuttle runs work?
Shuttle runs → New run. Add the stops in order with a zone for each, the days, season and departure time, the seats, a minimum number of riders, and a fare for each number of zones. Riders book seats on your shuttle page and pay per rider. Each date has a passenger list, and you can cancel a date that didn't fill: riders are emailed and card payments are refunded.
How do coupon codes work?
Create a code under Coupons with a discount percentage. Customers enter it at checkout on your booking portal.
How do I mark a cash or insurance ride as paid?
Open the ride and record the payment reference, date, and any notes. It's saved on the ride for your own records.
Referrals
Earning free rides.
How does the referral program work?
Send another operator your referral link. They start with 10 free rides, and once they complete their first 10 rides on Beridy, you get 100 free rides credited automatically. Nothing to redeem.
Where do I find my referral link?
Settings → Referrals.
Billing
What Beridy costs.
How does billing work?
$0.50 per completed ride, billed automatically. No monthly fee, no setup cost, no completed rides means no bill.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There's no contract, and you're never charged for rides you haven't completed.
